Macs Cove cottage rentals

Thoughtfully appointed holiday home, lovely neighbor, welcomed with a warm fire. Very dog friendly. Note to future dog visitors they cannot go up Mt buller and Stirling, there is not really any snow where doggies can visit unless it has been falling below 750m above sea level.

Wairere Rest is a really special property and a perfect place for some time away. The cottage is larger than we expected and has everything you could possibly need. The gardens and property were stunning and there's so many great food and wine options in the area. Even a 5-star rating doesn't seem high enough for Wairere Rest and we hope to return at some point in the future.

We had a great stay. Enjoyed checking out all the old knick knacks from days gone past.The cottage was nice and cosy and we felt at home.Great location, close to the pub and general store.Thank you Donna and Carl

Our hosts were very accomodating of our extremely late check in time, and we found the property very clean and comfortable. They even offered to help fix a damaged car in our convoy.

Our whole stay was 5 star from the moment we arrived Carl, Donna and there 2 dogs Bob and Baz were amazing hosts so lucky we choose this beautiful property. spotlessly clean and well equipped we truly loved our stay and made great friends. be back next year.

A beautiful place with welcoming, caring hosts. Truely amazing. Maggie greeted me on arrival, with supplies for great breakfast in the fridge and delicious home made bread. Sunday morning I was delighted with a freshly baked muffin. The cottage was spotless and very peaceful looking on to a beautifully kept parklike garden. I will come again.

On a fishing trip, perfect location

The Pioneers hut was perfect for my weekend stay in the Mansfield district. The hut is exactly as described, very comfortable and great location. Matt
