Fantastic airy apartment. On second floor but noise not terrible on a Friday and Saturday night and trees shielded view in from apartment opposite. Very comfortable bed. No microwave and no aircon so not sure how it would be middle of summer but two powerful fans available. I think someone is on site during normal hours so could leave luggage for the day after checkout. Only 10 min walk to the waterfront, tram 28 start ( go early morn before the crowds !!!!) and up the hill to the Castelo. Metro only 5 min. Really enjoyed this stay

This was a pleasant place to stay and all staff were helpful and obliging. Good position in city within easy reach of everywhere. Comfortable bed and good bathroom and shower pressure. Would say that if people were large with a lot of luggage perhaps a bigger room than a studio would be appropriate, as accommodation is quite small.

Faultless property. I have never stayed in accomodation to this level.The 200 year old building has been renovated to the classiest level but exposed stone, old windows remain to honour the building. Chandeliers, pure woollen throws, brass mirror all point to interior decoration to the highest level. Guests are greeted with ideas for their visit. Ie We were going to do tha Hop On Hop Off bus tour but a suggestion was made to do the TukTuk tour which was much better as they were able to negotiate the narrow streets. Situated near the main square with many dining options. The daily delivery of bread, pastries with fruit and yoghurt made it a dream stay.We wondered what our pastry would be. Oranges and an elecric juicer made breakfast a joy. George's tips, as all the staff, were very helpful. The bathroom is sleek....but a couple more hooks would have been welcome but proably not possible on the sliding glass doors. Very quiet. Enjoy!

The Apartment was spacious, in a great location in old city & Marina was super helpful as our host (was able to source very good city & Sintra guides). The Prada grocery store below which served as a bistro in the evenings was great for small plates & non preservative local wines. Highly recommend. Breakfast bags are delivered to your room each morning - something different each day.

If you’re searching for a hotel to stay then you’ve found it. This place is amazing. The best possible location. Great condition. Clean, tidy, safe with all the little extras. Staff are amazing! Just book it!!!

Lovely large room overlooking the road but not noisey. Great location in Alfama and only a 15 min walk to Rossio Square. Maybe longer returning to the Hotel as it is quite a steep walk back up the hill. Staff were excellent, breakfast good and lots of eating places around the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic position. Quiet location but within walking distance to major sights. Close to restaurants. Nice clean rooms. We had the studio apartment for 3 days which was fine but friends stayed in 1 bedroom apartment which I would have booked if staying longer. Staff friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
