The apartment was super clean and has everything you need for your stay. Washing machine and drying facilities are a bonus. Beds are so comfortable. One small negative is no TV in the master bedroom.

One of the best things about SmartRental Collection Madrid Centric (SCMC) is it's location - in the heart of Madrid, close enough walk to Puerta del Sol & Plaza Mayor and enough removed to not be overwhelmed by the touristic component of these locations. SCMC was in essence brand new when we stayed there, so much so that the advertised rooftop terrace and restaurant weren't open yet. All the staff were friendly and some were very warm and helpful. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The sofa bed had to be one of the most comfortable sofa beds we've experienced to date. The 2 bedroom apartments are "interior" apartments and have very little natural light (1 bedroom apartments have views to Gran Via and loads of natural light). We did experience problems with the showers, not sure if it was the nature of the design, but there was flooding out into the bedroom/hallway with use of the shower. The apartment was not spotless but it was not a huge inconvenience. If traveling with a car, worth booking a space at Smart Parking Callao (we found best rates by booking online direct with the carpark. You can enter and exit as frequently as required.
