Our family of four spent a pleasant week at Alfagar Village in July 2022. Overall the hotel was great - friendly staff, good food, great location (10 mins in a taxi from the old town) and facilities. The hotel had multiple swimming pools, some of which had water slides, which was great for our young children. Our room was a little dated but was cleaned thoroughly three times over the week. The only downsides were that the hotel's written policies around reserving sunbeds and outside visitors were not put into practice, and we were unlucky to have our room located near the bar where they had live music, so it was quite loud until approximately midnight each night. Overall though I would definitely recommend Alfagar Village to other families.

The hotel was conveniently located next to a shopping centre however the construction noise there was extremely loud and went on until early hours of the morning making sleeping almost impossible. Soundproofing of the rooms was terrible and all night you could hear guests talking and slamming doors. Despite the hotel being nearly empty and no one moving into our room they wanted to charge us to check out a couple of hours later. Fortunately our next place allowed us to check in early. The rooms are large but old and the grouting job in the bath/shower is disgusting where they have just tried grouting over mouldy grout. No iron in the room, you have to pay a deposit to borrow one and the fully equipped kitchen has no washing detergent or dish brush or cloth to clean the dishes. No washing machine either although there is a beautifully kept and clean one a couple of hundred metres away.

The room allocated to us was in one of the Atlantico buildings. The entry doors to the building were below our room, the lift and stairs next to our room, the mini mart shop next door also. It was always noisy at all hours and not a relaxing holiday, we were very disappointed. We made a booking 6 months in advance, you would think we were entitled to a good room. The spa is not heated, the bowling alley not working, couldn't get washing done because the washing machines broken down. Our room was tired, old fridge that needed replacing as it didn't close properly, noisy air-conditioners. Nobody was using the tennis court because you had to pay for it, it would be much better to have people playing and being involved, creating a nice social environment.

Very clean, spacious accomodation. Wee bit dated but fine otherwise. Nice facilities. We enjoyed our stay.
