Lovely well-appointed bright barn

We stayed at Blackbarn Wood for a week in June - it’s small but works for a single family. Quiet and cosy. Amazing views over the field and woods. I would recommend. Only niggling point is that the springs for the beds in the kids room were super creaky - so struggled to sleep in that room as every time I moved in the night the noise woke me up.

A peaceful retreat

Elise greeted us & showed around this wonderful house. We were provided with a substantial welcome pack that was so appreciated & well used for breakfast & nibbles. We travel a lot staying in lots of different places & the house was the best equipped home we have ever stayed in & everything was top notch quality. There is a wonderful butcher & little supermarket close by. Thank you Elsie be proud of your property as it is first class

Centrally located cottage on the old market square in the heart of the village

Gorgeous house in a lovely, friendly village

The house is exceptionally comfortable and well set up, wry comfortable beds, lovely kitchen and living areas. It’s on the Main Street so incredibly handy to local pubs for a meal, a beautiful cafe, and the bus service to Cambridge is a very short walk away. Louise was terrific to deal with, really helpful, and provides many ideas for looking around the local area. We couldn’t have been happier - thank you for making your place available Louise!
