The home is amazing and Steve was an incredibly attentive host. The house has everything you need and more, and is perfectly located to explore Yosemite Valley. Our kids have already asked to come back again!

We had a great time at the Lupin Cabin. It may not be right in the middle at Yosemite village, but it was only a short and picturesque 20 min drive down the hill. On most days we drove down into the valley, hiked the morning, drove back for a break around lunchtime, and the back again for a shorter hike, and to catch the amazing late afternoon light on the mountains. The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. Our 13 yo daughter stayed upstairs. Foresta itself was lovely and quiet with the scent from the trees everywhere. It was a great escape from the rest of the tourists in the valley. Finally, Steve our host was perfect. Easy to contact, and always responded promptly. Thanks so much Steve, your cabin just made the Yosemite experience for us perfect!

We had a wonderful time at Sunset Roost. The house was very comfortable and nicely decorated. We had a great time trying to save the grass from the wildlife. We would stay at Sunset Roost again.

Great, well equipped cottage away from the busy valley, but close enough for easy access to all the main attractions of Yosemite.

Very much enjoyed our 3 night stay at Serenity Suite. It's spotlessly clean, spacious, has a huge comfy bed, well equipped kitchen/laundry and a large balcony to relax after a long day of hiking. House rules and instructions are meticulously laid out, and the owners even made an effort to prepare maps and a guide of favourite hikes. The bottle of wine and coffee was nice too! This place is not for messy slackers. You need to organise food in advance and be able to find your way around without google maps, as there is no shop, gas station or cell reception within an hours' drive. The reward is it's so close to Glacier Point you can be the first person up there watching the sun rise over Half Dome.
