Our holiday was made especially enjoyable by Cécile's helpful and easy-going approach. The house was, for us, the perfect distance to the beautiful old centre of Périgueux. We had no car with us but enjoyed the Greenway along the river, either by foot or by bike. The shops, markets and restaurants of Périgueux are wonderful! We highly recommend this property for a holiday based there.

This is a very well presented property in Chancemade 5 km from the centre of Perigeux. Easy car parking and beautiful view of large garden and adjoining forest from the terrace. Easy access to good supermarkets and to attractions such as Brantome without the hassle of Perigeux traffic. Hosts very welcoming.

This is a fabulous place to to stay, I can’t rate it highly enough, beautiful gardens, on the river and you are able to swim and canoe. Close enough to town but far enough a way. The hosts are very accommodating and unobtrusive. Great place for touring the Dordongne.

We enjoyed the quietness and rural atmosphere yet it was only a ten-minute walk to the village and a good range of shops. The resident hen greeted us every morning and Laurent was so helpful and welcoming. The area provided lots of interesting places and variety. The week went all too quickly.
