Thank you Helen and Andrew for meeting us and having a chat. Helen also showed us around the property and suggested a walking trail, which we did the following day and had a great view. We are 2 sisters who go for a short break for each other’s birthday. The cottage has 2 bedrooms and was definitely value for money. Well maintained, spotlessly clean and with a fresh bathroom, the cottage had everything we needed. The comfortable beds and soft, cosy sheets deserve an extra mention! Secluded and peaceful location was just what we wanted and we went gold panning in the river beside the property. The visitors’ book showed just how popular this cottage is!

This property well exceeded expectations. It is very comfortable, cosy, and has stunning details. Quiet and warm for a winter retreat and a wide range of things to do in the area. We walked in Chiltern-Mt Pilot NP, explored Beechworth, caught up over the supplied Port, watched wrens and finches in the garden, and snuggled on the couch with the TV on, everything we wanted from the weekend.

This place is a delightful retreat, perfect for a short stay. The self-equipped kitchen is ideal for preparing meals, and you'll be warmly greeted by Salty, the friendly dog, and two horses. A small plot of vineyard adds to the charm, along with plenty of open space to relax. Enjoy evenings by the fire pit, hosted by the kind and friendly host who ensures you are well looked after. The comfy bed and cottage-like ambiance make it a truly cozy and inviting escape.
