The house & surrounds were everything we hoped for and more. The large picture windows filled with the view of the tiday bay were brilliant. Very quiet & private. Everything we could have needed incl. coffee pods, breakfast cereal etc. was there. Cold enough on some nights to use the well-stocked fireplace & wood-heated bath; warm enough on some days to use the two kayaks to explore the bay. Lots of easy / moderate walking trails within an easy drive. Thank you - perfect!

Great place to stay, beautiful beach close by, quite and peaceful neighbourhood. Ernie is a great host, would definitely stay again !

My family enjoyed our stay at tree cottage. It is a cosy, rustic feeling cottage that has a great 'on holidays' feel to it. Our kids loved exploring the garden and we appreciated being so close to the beach. The kitchen is small but has everything you would need while on holidays (we cooked breakfasts and dinners there). The house is not close to any shops but you can be in the wonderful Port Chalmers in 15 minutes where there are some excellent pubs and cafes. Great value; the owner also communicates well.

This was my favourite place in our whirlwind tour of NZ. Lovely house with character, choice of decks to have breakfast on, gazing at beautiful views. My ensuite bedroom was gorgeous. I really felt at home here. Just wish we had been able to stay longer. I will definitely return. Love the Warrington Beach area.
