Spent a very pleasant five days here, cycling out daily through lovely countryside and villages. Chris was extremely helpful with local knowledge and she and Patrick attended swiftly to any issue. Couze has a good place to hire bikes from, a fine bakery and local produce shop.

Gite Salagre is situated in vineyards in the wine growing around surrounding Bergerac. The hosts Serge and Beatrice are exceptional in their customer service from initial arrival to departure. Fresh produce from the garden and a delicious home made tart set the tone for a wonderful stay. The gite is set in the Dordogne and served by a local airport. There are numerous places of both historical interest and natural beauty both on the doorstep and within easy driving distance. After a days sightseeing it was great to come back to the swimming pool which was there for our exclusive use. All the pictures accurately reflected what we found.
