Lovely place to stay

Beautiful house for a 5 day family stay - big verandah with comfy seating, table, bbq overlooking the water, perfect for sunset drinks and oysters. Spacious open living/ dining/ modern kitchen area, excellent for cooking up and sharing delicious feasts and then lounging around for family movie nights. Excellent bathrooms for showering off after long beach days. Close to beach, pub (outside tables overlooking the beach), coffee etc. Sarah, our host, was super-responsive to our requests and feedback. Highly recommend 10/10.

We had a very pleasant stay in the house with stunning view.

This is a beautifully refurbished shack in a stunning location. It was done very tastefully in keeping with the original character. We had a great stay. The view from the sun room is mesmerising, we spent most of our time there, for breakfast, dinner, cup of tea, reading, doing crossword... We saw a frolicking seal just in front. The kitchen is very well equipped and also offers a stunning view. Access to the beach is very easy and the beach is very safe. Communication with Monique was very efficient. We hope to stay again, it is a very special place.

This was my second stay at this property, Perfect for three couples The kitchen is well equipped and we ate all our meals on the lovely large covered deck. The outdoor spa is another treat that we enjoyed a couple of times during our stay. Had a great time!

Location, location, location! Pristine beach, beautiful clear water. Absolute heaven! A truly relaxing get-away. House well equipped and loved the extra touches - chocies, fresh apples etc. Look forward to returning and will not hesitate in highly recommending.

We are so grateful to have spent Christmas and new year in this amazing house. It has everything you could possibly need and more. The added personal touches were much appreciated. We have stayed at many “pet friendly” places in Tasmania and this is the best by far. The yard is fully enclosed and my houdini dog Indy could not get out. Perfect location, beautiful home and fantastic host. We can’t wait to return 😀

Best accommodation we have ever stayed in. The cottage was handcrafted by a craftsman. The decor is themed after Beaupre, the early French explorer (hydrographer), supported with a good number of antiques, collectables and hand knotted oriental rugs. The fit-out is top quality and consumables include everything imaginable from full scale sewing kits to snake bite kits. Wonderful, local breakfast supplies with fresh flowers and herbs throughout, complete the cottage. And don't get me going on how great the outside area is, complete with its own herb garden and extensive views over and access to the local waterways. Chris is a fantastic host and a special thank you to our local guide, Beau. If we ever need to lay-up for 3 months or so, it would be at Beaupre Cottage.
