good communication with host. would have been a great place for two families to stay . plenty of rooms.

Booked the Manning cottage for 5 nights. It was as described comfortable and welcoming, with all the facilities necessary for a very pleasant self contained experience. Great views overlooking the river, quiet and private. The host Paul was very friendly and on hand when needed. We thoroughly recommend Barrington Cottages as a great hideaway holiday in a lovely setting.Thanks a lot to our hosts for a great stay. We'll be back for sure.

A wonderful "escape" from the city, but only 5 minutes to Gloucester for a coffee and some groceries.

Beautiful house, we had everything we needed in the kitchen, maybe the knives need sharpening, but that’s me, I do like cooking lol

Another relaxing stay in this spacious house in a picturesque and peaceful setting. Plenty of room for our party of 7 or more. Perfect place to unwind and enjoy the serenity. Fire pit perfect to sit out under the stars. Easy access to walks and not far from township of Gloucester. Rose’s extra touches of linen, wine and chocolates an added bonus. Looking forward to our next visit.

This is the second time my family and I have stayed at this property and it doesn’t disappoint. The house has plenty of rooms and space, and the view outside is amazing. We have gone during summer both times and the pool naturally warms up to a very nice temperature. We also enjoyed feeding carrots to, and patting the horses. It was just the relaxing holiday away from busy Sydney and work that we needed to recharge. We will be back for sure!

Unfortunately for us we stayed whilst a severe weather event impacted the entire mid north coast of NSW so our hiking and mountain biking plans weren’t able to be met. The property is as presented and very comfortable. Our hosts were also very communicative and generous in allowing us to stay longer, should we have needed to, due to the significant flooding in the area. Very much appreciated.
