Beautiful family home in a lovely family-friendly location. The pool was very much enjoyed by our family, as well as the well-stocked play room with plenty of toys and books.

We had the best stay at Heartwood Farm!If you are looking to getaway from it all, Heartwood Farm delivers that in abundance. The serenity, peace and misty morning views from the terrace over a morning coffee really hit the spot. The styling in the cottage is exquisite and with so many little details though out, including a picnic blanket to take down to the river, lawn games and marshmallows to roast over the fire pit.Nicole and Craig are excellent hosts and went above and beyond whilst we were there, quickly changing over the gas when it ran out, quickly providing supplies of wine and the best chilli margaritas when we ran low. Even though you are in the heart of the countryside you have Federal on your doorstep and Bangalow and Byron within an easy drive. Though we didn't really want to leave as we had everything we needed at the farm.I highly recommend booking Heartwood Farm and can't wait to return.

The cottage was a great size and was very comfortable for our short stay. We also felt it would be comfortable for a longer stay. The bed was king size and comfortable. Bathroom and laundry were well appointed, and super handy if you need to do a quick load of washing. The kitchen was spacious and the refrigerator was a great size. The deck outside was a nice place to sit and relax. This property is a short walk to Shelley Beach or Angel's Beach, and there are 2 cafes closeby, with another 5 mins further.

A lovely spacious home that is well equipped and in a great location. Just around the corner from the local grocer and wine store. An added benefit - one of the best bakeries around is 2 minutes away and perfect for breakfast and lunch. Would definitely stay again.

Tides is a great property in a terrific location that is very well equipped to host a larger group. Three generations of our family converged from multiple states for a reunion and Tides was the perfect venue. There are ample bedrooms and bathrooms in the house and the facilities ensure guests can relax year round. We stayed in winter and the children loved the hot tub, while the indoor fireplace and outdoor pizza oven created plenty of coziness for the adults. Many of our group were happy to enjoy the bucolic views while reading poolside in the sunshine. We took advantage of the location by visiting Killen Falls which exceeded our expectations. The proximity to Ballina and the airport proved to be very convenient. I highly recommend this property for larger groups looking for a special spot to get together, celebrate and relax.

This was initially a weekend away to celebrate my birthday, however we were enchanted by the beauty, charm and spirit of the home and surrounding scenery, and decided to extend our visit. This delightful homestay has all the comforts of home with extra touches of a luxurious hotel. Being self contained, it makes a fabulous place to escape the propaganda of the world’s pandemic. Derek has been a respectful and friendly host; eager to make your stay perfect and we look forward to returning in the future.
