We really enjoyed our stay at Oak Beach Dreaming, the accommodation is exactly as portrayed, with the location a very calm and peaceful space, inside and out - and would happily return.

Wonderful getaway destination as a home away from home with all the extras of resort living!

Our stay was excellent as usual

We had a lovely stay from the moment we arrived. Fran met us at check in and was very kind and helpful. The house is in a nice quiet street only a few minutes drive from Macrossan Street. We all loved the swimming pool. We highly recommend especially for families and would love to stay here on future holidays to Port Douglas.

The Artists Nook is an ecclectic mix of comfortable relaxing boho beachy style. Perfect to settle in and enjoy the beautiful 4 mile beach, enjoy the pool and sun lounges and all the beautiful books and quirky art. I stayed six weeks and loved every minute, particularly the lovely patio and garden and all the fabulous restaurants nearby.

The accommodation was just as advertised and it made our stay in Port Douglas a memorable one.

Beautiful well equipped property let down by noisy neighbours

Well located, a short drive or long walk to the town centre, we enjoyed walking along the beach. Brian met us on arrival and was friendly and helpful. The house had everything we needed and a bit more. Loved the fact that the pool was heated, many an hour was spent there. Great outside area to relax, BBQ and outside drinks fridge, even a supply of mozzie coils! The only thing off putting was the arrival of another group in the adjoining unit with very small children who cried a lot starting before 6am and whenever they were put into their room which was adjacent to the entertaining area. Unfortunately noise from their unit travelled into ours waking us up daily and making relaxing outside when the kids were awake, impossible, however, once they were asleep, it became a quiet sanctuary again.
