Claude's property was delightful - it was accurately described and very comfortable. Our hosts were very welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the property. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We did need to ask for bath towels as these are not provided. Also a 50 Euro cleaning fee is imposed if you do not perform the cleaning yourself. Overall, a good stay and recommend to others.

This gîte was the best we have ever stayed in, and we come to France regularly. It was exactly as described and shown in the photos, but even better. It is a beautifully designed house with so many special touches - certainly not just your usual holiday let. The gîte was beautifully clean throughout and felt like a home away from home. We had two wonderful weeks here and were sorry to leave. The accomodation was excellent: The kitchen and dining area led onto the courtyard. Our joy was to come home after a day's touring and enjoy our apéro sitting in the courtyard admiring the view of the cliffs with chateau perched on top. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and even included a Delonghi coffee maker. Downstairs there was a very comfortable and large living room with a view. The two bedrooms (both ensuite) were separated allowing for privacy - ideal if you are couples travelling together. There was even a separate laundry. Both bedrooms had comfortable Queen sized beds and the ensuites were stylish as well as functional. Air conditioning was available on both levels. The location was superb with so many enjoyable day trips from Le Beaucet. Lots of opportunity for walks from here too. The village itself was lovely, with the gîte just inside the ramparts. While the gîte was superb, what made this stay truly special was the welcome we received, and continued to receive, from Catherine the owner. We spent a very happy week at the delightful Mas Le Macaju in the first week of July. This is a property that will particularly suit a family with young children, looking for somewhere more contemporary than rustic, comfortable, safe and within easy reach of the towns and villages on the western edge of Provence, 20 minutes from Avignon and about an hour to the airport in Marseille. The owner, Fabien, speaks heavily-accented French and barely any English but is very accommodating and responsive, and clearly takes great pride in maintaining the property. The house was spotlessly clean and the facilities excellent - a beautiful pool, a lovely shaded outdoor bbq/dining area, a modern laundry and well-equipped kitchen. Lounging by the pool, reading a good book and drinking copious quantities of rose was no hardship here!
