Newhaven house rentals

We stayed for 4 days with two friends visiting during that time. The house is generous in size with very good natural light. It has many little features - lamps, ornaments, photos and artwork- making it interesting and welcoming. The local pub, cafe & bar/restaurant are a short walk, as are the beaches and coastal walking paths.

Nice house, great for staying with friends

Great comfortable accommodation close to everything. Communication with host was very slow but eventually sorted out.

My friend and I (and two year old Border Collie) enjoyed the location of this home, a short stroll to the beach and general store. There are two balconies, one with a partial view of the beach and a private one at the back overlooking the fields where we saw kangaroos. The kitchen was clean and well equipped, and the lounge / dining area was spacious. We appreciated having a bathroom each. The dog enjoyed running around the yard, and even though the fences are low, she was safely contained. We weren't able to use the BBQ as the gas cylinder was empty but we could have used the nearby BBQs at the beachfront park if we really wanted to. We would definitely stay here again.

This is the my second stay at this terrific house this year and it was just as fabulous as the first! Newhaven and the Island have so much to offer and explore even at this wintery time of the year, with the comforting thought of returning to a warm spa and house with its fabulous views over the marina. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and there is a large choice of games, including table tennis, to entertain guests who aren’t quite ready to sit down with a book or stare at the ever changing view. Communication with our host was easy and many thanks to her for our wonderful stay. Can’t wait for my next visit!

Had everything we needed good location, clean & cosy Very nice property for a break away from everything

We had a fantastic time in this beautiful decorated home. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Very spacious living area and deck with view of the ocean in a quiet location, well equipped kitchen and even a fenced garden. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and the dog beach. Perfect place for a getaway with your fur babies. We will definitely come back!

Love this house and location. Ideal for my daughter and me as a getaway for her surfing comp. On the edge of the National Park it was cllose to the action but so so quiet and nestled in nature. Beach, bay, bunnies and birds. All the b's. We will be back. :)
