My friends and I stayed at this beautiful sea view homestay as part of our tasmania travels. The interior furnishings were beautiful and we could tell a lot of work had gone into designing the place. The natural atmosphere and comfortable bedding also made it feel like home. The kitchen was well equipped with the utensils and equipment we needed, making our life in the homestay extremely convenient and comfortable.If we ever have the opportunity to visit tasmania again. We would definitly chose this place againagain.

Forth River Cottage was amazing, there is absolutely nothing the owners haven’t thought of, Sally was so easy to communicate with and offers great advice on the local area, The property is in such a beautiful location on the banks of the river and no stone is left unturned with the owners making our stay a truely special one, a complimentary bottle of wine for a birthday gift along with fresh eggs, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms and milk to name just a few of the gifts to make our stay even more memorable, Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great relaxing time away, Cheers Zak & V

We had 7 nights in the lovely property. Plenty of room for 4 senior adults in 3 bedrooms. Huge ensuite, well equiped kitchen. Close to local shops and bakery. We would stay here again and recommend to others.

Hosts Stacey and Michael have created a perfect place to stay within minutes of the Food Trail. We stayed at Long John’s Cottage which was as described with everything we needed for a cosy and peaceful place to stay. Stacey kindly showed us around the property, meeting their horses and the resident duck. There is a beautiful outlook from their other residences which you can stay in, including a dam and scenic mountain views. Be sure to purchase some of the delicious farm honey. Highly recommend!

Wonderful property. Immaculately clean and comfortable. Great views, well equipped, close to cafe and IGA. Easy access to surrounds.Very relaxing.
