Beautiful property in a beautiful location.Plenty of firewood to warm us inside and outside by the generous firepit. Well stocked kitchen with everything needed to cook for all 8 adults.We enjoyed our stay tremendously

The perfect retreat for those looking to escape into the countryside! Excellent communication and care from property manager Bronwyn, who goes the extra mile in ensuring guests are comfortable during their stay at Fosterton retreat, while also providing extensive resources for things to do in the Dungog area. I especially loved the attention to detail in the descriptions of the nearby hiking trails. Overall a wonderful experience, would definitely recommend.

Although it took nearly 4 hours from Sydney due to school holiday traffic, the property was amazing. The pool is huge so accommodates everyone, the house is HUGE, and is fully stocked from kitchen to towels to a million extra pillows, a toy room for the kids, DVD's to watch, an air con in the main living room is very powerful, Great walking grounds. The local IGA is 11 Min away. Fans in every room. All you need to bring is your swimmers and food. The only cons i could think of was the fact there is ZERO reception which starts at the front gate of the property. While its nice to get the kids to have a break from it, I would have preferred Internet for those Chill moments. Would recommend hiring Starlink and bringing with you. Also the owners house is visible to the pool so privacy is limited but honestly we rarely ever saw them. Max was so nice and hospitable. Marshmallows over the fire pit was fun and Kangaroos are everywhere around the house which is nice to see. I would recommend this property to others. Thanks for the stay!

Fabulous five days in a very beautiful and peaceful part of NSW. Accommodation was perfect for us: warm, cozy, clean & comfortable. Close proximity to Barrington Tops National Park for those keen on walking. We would definitely come back as we didn't want to leave!!
