This property was amazing! Totally off grid but such a unique experience. The walking tracks all throughout the property were great and well kept. The hosts, Vivienne and Tim, were super helpful and just awesome people all round. Plus a friendly dog was a bonus!

This place is immaculate.
It is easy to feel ‘at home’ straight away.
Everything we needed was there and the hosts were very helpful.
Close to town and also to the lake. Waihi beach less than 10 minutes away and others not much further. The Hauraki Rail Trail so close.
It was quiet and all in all, a great place to stay.

The house and its facilities are spectacularly good. The garden is a delight (including a small and abundant herb garden to forage when using the well-appointed kitchen). My family loved the hot tub! The convenience for accessing the Gorge and its walking trails could not be better.

We enjoyed our stay at starry nights. It was great to find a home where all 16 of us could stay in one place. Comfortable rooms and beautiful gardens. Kitchen is rather small for the amount of people and broken outdoor furniture could do with updating, but overall a lovely stay. Thank you!
