Good location, clean and tidy room
Clean and tidy. Location was very good with the beach across the road and various eateries within walking distance. We had a standard motel style room with an extra bedroom for the kids which worked well for a one-night stay on our way through to the Coromandel. We stayed in ten other accommodations during our North Island holiday and pricing seemed a little high for the room standard but that may just be the location.

Great place to stay. Easy access.
Lovely room. Very clean and comfy beds. Manager and staff very friendly and accomodating. Only problem was there was no parking available but were lucky enough to get street parking. Bonus was a washer and dryer in room. Would recommend.

AWESOME place to stay! Beach across the road!
Loved our stay! Owner Troy was welcoming and accommodating! Very clean, up to date facilities! Hand written card welcoming us to the lodge (😍 great touch). Troy brought complimentary drinks to our room...it’s the little things that count! We would definitely stay again...longer next time...one day’s too short!

Nice and cosy
Stayed 2 nights at the place with 2 children. Place was nice and cosy with breath- taking views. I was surprised that the kitchen was complete- had portable electric stove top, portable electric non- stick frying pan, toaster, kettle and all other utensils. Thus, managed to cook some decent meals. Bed was comfortable with all sorts of pillows (ranging from soft to firm). There was also a spa/ jacuzzi pool nearby which my kids enjoyed it very much. Staff was very kind and friendly. It's about 10min drive from Mangawhai village.

Not bad for an overnight stay
Enjoyed our short stay here. One exception - the ‘parking available’ at a cost and you park out front on the street is not cool!

Great Place to Stay. New Establishment.
I had booked for 3 nights, ended up only staying for 2 nights. They said they were unable to refund teh 3rd night. However, I was told that I could check out any time I wanted with no extra cost for late check-out.
