Brilliant! Perfect for family groups. wonderful villa with exquisite gardens and plenty of playing space for kids. Lovely pool (but very deep - kids need to be watched). Rooms are large and comfortable. Wonderful views over the lake. Very close to bus stop and train station. Close to Lago Piazza with good restaurants (but none open in early morning), rocks for jumping into the lake, lovely outlook. Allis good but would have been nice if fans had been provided (very inexpensive) during the hot weather.

Villa Reggio di Sole was a beautiful home away from home❤️ Domenico and Marinette thought of everything to make our stay a memorable one! We would highly recommend Porto Ceresio with it’s picturesque location and friendly people. We did not have a car, but it didn’t stop us from doing anything! The train station is only a 10-15 minute walk with a direct line to Varese and Milano Porto Garibaldi stations. From Varese it is easy to connect with other train services to places like Como. In Porto Ceresio there are many beautiful restaurants and eateries and the food is varied and plentiful and priced reasonably. There is a supermarket within walking distance from the Villa that stocks almost everything you could want. We do not speak much Italian, but most times we were able to be understood and luckily for us a lot of the people we came across were able to speak pretty good English.
