There is a good choice of tours and activities in the surrounding area including organic farms offering meals in a jungle setting, rice fields, coffee plantations, hot springs, temples including water blessings and a volcano. Made’s wife Komma is an excellent cook and there is a good menu from which to choose tasty meals served in house. Mertha House is located in a village of 1800 people and provides a good base from which to experience the real Bali.
