The house itself is full of charm and history, impeccably clean, and filled with thoughtful details – from chocolates on the bed to perfectly folded towels that made us feel instantly welcome.What truly made the experience stand out were the hosts. They were incredibly generous and attentive, offering personalised touches throughout our stay that showed genuine care. They gave us great local tips with detailed instructions, booked a restaurant on our behalf, and even offered to drive us there and pick us up – an extraordinary gesture that we won’t forget.We’ve travelled widely and stayed in many wonderful places, but these hosts have set a new benchmark. We have always preferred to stay out of the cities when visiting other countries as we have found that this is the best way to get a taste of where you are visiting, and this was no exception. The location gives you easy access To Frankfurt, Cologne and the surrounding areas. The property is clean neat and tidy and a pleasure to stay in with everything provided and if there is anything missing Friedhelm or Birgit will find it. We especially enjoyed Friedhelms introduction to the area and his wonderful BBQ expertise.
