We travelled across Switzerland, Austria and France and thought this was by far the most beautiful of all the places we stayed. Very good for both walking and relaxing and the air is so clear.
If you stay in Sarnen we strongly recommend going up mount Pilatus via the cog railway, down by cable car and gondola then back across the lake by ferry.
