L'Île-Dorval beach rentals

Fabulous hotel and great value for money, compared to New York. Room was spacious and staff super friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the breakfast was expensive (around CAD 35, which didn't include espresso coffee, which was extra).

Fantastic location but the actual property is a private rental, my fault for not realising, so check in was a challenge as was not provided any codes or keys to make the process easy. Unit up a few flights of stairs, which could be tricky with luggage. The stair bannister is not screwed in, which is highly dangerous. Many maintenance issues, but to be fair, the owner did send out a maintenance person each time. The unit presents well in photos.
