We absolutely loved our stay in Elizabeth’s Suite! The apartment was so beautifully decorated and everything you needed was supplied. We really felt like it was a home away from home. The location was outstanding. The markets were literally outside your front door. We stayed for a week but wish we could’ve stayed longer. Communication with our host was easy and we were accommodated with an early check in. I highly recommend this because accommodation.

We stayed in this lovely apartment for a month and were so sad to leave! It was perfectly positioned, roomy and comfortable. All rooms were large. It would easily accomodate 4 prople. Clean and bright with a lovely courtyard. Well fitted out. Multiple channels available on the TV. Joel was a wonderful host. Parking was great. It's close to everything you need with a boulangerie a couple of doors down, multiple ice cream shops, and a 3 star Michelin restaurant. The village and local area were divine, with lots to do, see and experience. We want to come back and bring friends!

We (two couples) absolutely loved our time at Mont Joie.
The house is well set up and Martine and Andrea were very helpful. The supplied guide was an excellent source of info.
Beynac is a great base to explore the Dordogne. We enjoyed visiting Château de Baynac, Gouffre de Padirac, Lascaux and Rocamadour. We spent 4 nights at Mount Joie and would have loved to spend even more time in the Dordogne, enjoying Mont Joie and Beynac.
A highlight was having our apéritif on the balcony, taking in the beautiful Autumn view, each afternoon.
Beynac and Mont Joie are very special, thank you for a wonderful stay.

A lovely apartment in the heart of this gorgeous medieval town, tastefully furnished and with a modern bathroom and well-equipped kitchen. It was exactly the same as the photos and descriptions. You really feel you are part of the community here. It was a very special feeling on market days (Wednesday and Saturday) to be able to step out into the street and have the market stalls at your feet; to buy one’s provisions and then to come back to the apartment to offload one’s purchases! The market stalls stretched up the street and into Place de la Liberte and although they set up at about 7am we never heard a thing as the double glazing in the apartment shut out the noise. It was a perfect base to explore the beautiful town of Sarlat-la-Caneda as well as the many gorgeous towns and villages that surround it. The parking worked very well and was only a 10 minute walk away. There is a flight of stairs which is a little steep and curving but there is a handrail and my husband, who had been previously concerned about this, due to his instability, had no difficulty in using them.
Allison was so willing to help in whatever way she could, be it providing additional linen, collecting us from the station and dropping us off again, or sorting out a problem we encountered with filling our car with petrol (our travel money card didn’t work as it wasn’t ‘Chip & PIN’) Nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the restaurant twice and were treated so well. Marc is a very talented chef. The food was a gastronomic delight, beautifully presented, and the restaurant itself has a very welcoming feel to it. All the staff were very pleasant. Allison and Marc are both delightful hosts. We would not hesitate to recommend Les Jardins d’Harmonie, for both the apartment and the restaurant.
