The accommodation at Shack on Francis is delightful. Warm and cosy with everything you need. Accommodation was very clean and owner has tastefully furnished this property. Ideally located in Adventure Bay. We even had a visit from the white wallaby. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

We just spent a week at this lovely house overlooking Adventure Bay. It was so cosy, comfortable and clean. We spent many an hour sitting out on the verandah looking at the bay and boats. Some lovely walks and beaches close by. Great meals at the Bruny pub. Fresh sourdough bread baked daily. Friendly local community. Abundant wildlife. Thank you to Carl and Donna for the opportunity to stay in this beautiful part of the world. We hope to return.

Beautiful house for a 5 day family stay - big verandah with comfy seating, table, bbq overlooking the water, perfect for sunset drinks and oysters. Spacious open living/ dining/ modern kitchen area, excellent for cooking up and sharing delicious feasts and then lounging around for family movie nights. Excellent bathrooms for showering off after long beach days. Close to beach, pub (outside tables overlooking the beach), coffee etc. Sarah, our host, was super-responsive to our requests and feedback. Highly recommend 10/10.

This rustic house was the perfect choice for our family hideaway escape and beachside serenity. For those who don’t mind lighting a fire or using the boiler stove, it’s charming! There is a gas stove alternative, yet it doesn’t quite match the charm of the place. Well located between north and south. Definitely bring your own selection of food and wine supplies and you’re set to indulge.

5 families, heaps of kids, property was great. Fires outside and inside, plenty of wood, kitchen with all that we needed, great space, comfy beds. Great for getting there and hanging out - long driveway in, so flagging if your plan is plenty of movements, we mostly hibernated, but we did see Aurora Australis!

We had a very pleasant stay in the house with stunning view.

Really nice property in a great location. Everything was clean and as advertised. Steve was easy to deal with. Would recommend.
