Beautiful accommodation - true to pics!!

I had a wonderful time in Avignon. A large part of the reason was staying in this classic building in an area that is close to everything, yet feels like a little homely precinct (with few tourists)that you're part of. My room was very cosy as a solo traveller. As to host Fabienne, I can't thank her enough for her kindness and generosity. She helped me when I needed dental assistance and went to great lengths to access it for me. I wil remember my stay with great fondness. pplocale that has few tourists

My husband and I stayed in this cosy cottage for a month. We also hosted a friend here for a couple of weeks. The cottage is spacious, full of natural light, clean and set in an a large green meadow! The tranquility of this place made every day perfect! The two bedrooms with their own showers and toilets were modern . The living / dining area was comfortable. The kitchen well equipped and we were able to cook whenever we felt like it. The host Chantal is warm, welcoming and an absolute treasure. She was ever so kind to us.It was clear she wanted us to have the best time! Chantal organised French lessons gave me a French cooking lesson in her own kitchen , invited us to drinks with her charming husband Gaby and daughter Marjorie. Chantal gave us insight s into places to visit around the region and dining options. All in all we had the most wonderful stay in this charming cottage with its own private entrance and outdoor BBQ and dining area. The Old City of Avignon is a fascinating place packed with culture, history, shopping and superb restaurants. We did excursions to towns and villages like Aix en Provence, Roussillon etc all just a day’s excursion .So the location, just 15 minutes from the old town of Avignon and close to supermarkets, Sunday farmers markets and interesting historical sites is fantastic. We enjoyed our stay during the festival in this most unique historical building. It is truly unique and one of a kind experience. It is also exceedingly large! We will always remember our stay in because of this place. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bathroom was great. We all enjoyed it.

The apartment was very comfortable, clean and in an excellent location. It was a very quiet area, not far from the Popes Palace, restaurants and shops. There was a very good bakery, little Greek shop and supermarket close by. Frederique was a wonderful host. She was there to greet us on arrival and checked with us each day to see how we were going. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Avignon.

We were a group of four who were very warmly welcomed to Avignon by Francis. Francis maintained communication with us from booking to departure and provided us with very helpful information about the local area, things to do and his preferred restaurants. Francis also helped us arrange a personal driver (Ben) for the day to visit Chateauneuf Du Pape which was a fantastic experience. The apartment was huge, clean and full of charm & period features. It was a pleasure to stay in such a great space. In the heart of Avignon but also in a quiet street. On site parking was a great bonus. Thanks Francis for a wonderful 5 days & nights.
