Lumsden lake rentals

Fantastic place to spend a few days.

Lovely and clean cottage which was perfect for 2 fishermen. We had a great time with good fishing in the Mataura and Waikhia rivers.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Oreti River House. The house is beautifully appointed with a comfy fireplace and lounge. All essentials for a week were provided like tea, washing powder, etc. The garden is absolutely amazing! Beautiful touches is the floor heating and big bath tub, lots of fly fishing and movie dvds We would highly recommend it! One minor drawback to be aware of is that the fire, police and ambulances are parked very near to the property. Thus, we listened to the sirens a few times. On the other hand lumsden is very small so there will also be lots of stays when you will probably never hear them. It did not lessen our beautiful and relaxing stay in this very cozy house

Would highly recommend. Great spacious property in great condition. Lovely outdoor area to enjoy the sunshine. Walking distance to park, supermarket and local shops. Incredibly kind property manager who ensured our child had high chair, cot, linen and even Surprised her with a welcome gift. Would definitely recommend and we will likely be back to stay again.
