We spent eight unforgettable nights here—a peaceful retreat from the bustle of life in Penrith, Sydney. It was just the four of us: my wife Marianni, our dog Keio, and my cousin Martine. From the moment we arrived, the house greeted us with warmth—both from the fireplace already lit, and the tidy, well-cared-for spaces that immediately felt like home.Each morning began with a quiet walk at sunrise, just us and the wide open sky, with Keio joyfully leading the way. In the evenings, we lit the fire pit and gathered around to roast marshmallows and enjoy simple barbecued meals, camping style. A glass of wine by the indoor fire, watching a film as the wind whispered outside, made winter here something magical.The sunrises and sunsets are truly breathtaking—nature’s theatre right at your doorstep. This place is more than just a house; it’s a little pocket of stillness and beauty, and we are deeply grateful for the time we spent here.We’ll definitely return.

Cath was a wonderful host. Home full of old world charm. The wood fire in the living room much appreciated on a cold but fantastic weekend away. House catered for 6 adults comfortably. Home set in a private yet convenient location. Lovely grounds. On a side note, recommend Twin Towns Pizza and Harden Country Club for great food

We came down to see my sister and needed somewhere to stay nearby. This place was easy to get to. It is well appointed with Air Conditioning, a good coffee machine and newly renovated bathroom.

Glenwari's proximity to the national park is a huge plus, offering hiking trails, 4x4 routes, and mountain biking paths. It’s an adventurer’s dream, yet it also caters perfectly to those who just want to sit back, relax, and take in the serene surroundings. The cottage itself is warm and welcoming, with a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living room, a fireplace, and even a tennis court! Robyn and David have thought of everything to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Their hospitality is unmatched – they truly go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Whether you're staying for a day or a weekend, Glenwari is the ultimate escape from the everyday. Such a little slice of heaven to stay in this cottage. 2nd time here and couldn’t first remember exactly why we loved it so much, we just knew we wanted to go again. Now I remember: it’s the lovely feeling of being dropped inside a countryside painting, in a cute little cottage, with your fence around you to keep your nearest and dearest close. Sharee and Bill are so lovely, and this time we visitors Wyangala Dam for the day for a picnic. Boorowa pool is great and the town bakery has the best lamingtons I’ve had in my life!

Gorgeous property, owners were very easy to deal with, great communication. Photos are exactly what you get. We loved it!!
