Great host and lovely place! Loved being a short ways to the beach and food trucks!

We had a small family reunion here and it was perfect. Everyone from my 23 year old son to my 88 year old mother loved it. Great location. Charming comfortable house. Really feels like home. Enough space for all of us to be together when we wanted and still have some privacy. Sitting on the porch or on the little deck overlooking the beach was magical. Would love to come back. The north shore has enough things to keep you busy without losing the read holiday vibe. Communication can be a little unreliable through the VRBO website but that’s no fault of the owner.

Property was renovated, well equipped and in a great location. Owner was very welcoming and friendly, offering assistance if needed.

We are a family of 5 with 3 kids between 9-6 and all felt very lucky to stay here. The area has a super relaxed vibe with lovely neighbours who we would meet walking on the beach each day. Adrienne met us on arrival, showed us around and was very helpful throughout the week, checking if we needed anything and providing good local restaurant recommendations. The property backs directly onto a small beach where you can enjoy wonderful sunsets, and it is also only 3 minutes walk to the beautiful sunset beach with great swimming, snorkeling and....sunsets! The apartment itself is one of two residences on the property, with the owners place at the front looking directly over the beach (they were not there when we stayed, so we had the place to ourselves) and ours behind that but with easy access to the back deck to enjoy the beach and views. The apartment itself is brand new, very tasteful and with all the facilities you need to be comfortable and self-cater. Great air-conditioning and fans, all kitchen equipment, comfortable beds, outdoor shower (very handy for getting sand of kids feet!), coffee machine with pods provided (thank you!) and even a couple of beach chairs. There is off street parking behind an automatic gate which made us feel very secure. It is also 2 mins walk to the 'sunset shack' for morning smoothies and Teds Bakery is a 8 min walk. Highly recommend this place and would love to come back.

Had a wonderful stay at this property. Walking distance to all the famous beaches. Teds bakery 2min walk up the road. Property is central to Turtle Bay and Haleiwa Town. Kamala and Bill were great. Anything we needed they were willing to help. The room is spacious, private and well equipped and having a parking space is a bonus.

We have just returned from our trip to HI. We stayed at J Marie’s for 5 nights, and whilst we had a couple of wet days, we had such a wonderful, chilled time. The location is awesome, close to all the beaches, but away from the road noise. Foodland is just down the road and lots of places for takeaway or quick sit down meal at the food trucks in Pupukea. The house clean and spacious, and we felt like we do at our own beach house at home - relaxed. The beds were all comfy, GM had her own space downstairs, the outdoor area with ocean views was perfect for happy hour. Not to mention the bikes, boards, chairs and beach towels. J Marie was very helpful with all our questions and where to surf for our young boys. Thanks for having us!
