Thank you for your wonderful hotel and staff. We had a great time in the spacious room with plenty of amenities. We loved the social atmosphere during breakfast and happy hour. The location is awesome - so close to everything you need to see in Kyoto.

We so loved our stay here. It was a perfect way to start our journey around Japan. The house has the tradition feel of Kyoto but with modern comforts. Although the mattresses were on the harder side (which we’ve come to expect in Japan) we loved our stay here. A great location to position ourselves to walk to all the major attractions. Thanks for having us!

Lovely house where traditional Japanese meets western, much better than staying in a hotel. Beautifully presented, clean and comfortable in a nice neighbourhood. We were met by Ume, whose Grandmother use to own the house, she was a fantastic host who went beyond our expectations including forwarding a parcel I accidentally left behind to our next accomodation. Would definitely stay again.
