Saint Austell Bay oceanfront rentals

Carole's place is a lovely, cozy cottage, with plenty of light and lovely views of the harbour. While the rooms are not large, there are plenty of them with room for everything. Carole is a very accommodating host, leaving us all the makings of a cream tea and a bottle of wine. The restaurants and shops are only a few steps away. Highly recommend. The apartment is absolutely spotless with beautiful views out towards the ocean. It has a very well equipped kitchen including full oven, dishwasher and washer/dryer. It is located in a residential area 15 minutes walk from Charlestown and about 5 minutes drive to a supermarket. The private, gravel beach is a few minutes walk downhill from the apartment. The hosts were very accommodating and responded very quickly to our pre arrival queries. The only down side is that it is in a residential area and 3 of us talking on the balcony at 9.40pm resulted in a complaint from a neighbour who had work the next day. Other than that everything was really lovely.
