The host was very kind. He had lots of amenities such as games, jigsaws and kayaks. The kitchen equipment was just perfect. Enjoyed the outdoor pizza oven as well as the fireplace. The scenery was almost surreal. The kayak was in great condition and we had fun times on it. There are lots of places to see and explore nearby which the owner was happy to help explain the whereabouts of, such as waterfalls, a bushwalk, mangroves, uninhabited island, etc. Lots of magpies... they get grumpy if you don't feed them when they visit the balcony (bird food was provided)

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment which is located on the ground floor of the main house immensely. The property was extremely clean and well maintained. The hosts who we met onsite were incredibly welcoming and considerate. They made genuine efforts to ensure we had everything we needed, genuinely welcoming of children and even gave us freshly baked muffins. Highly recommend.

Seabreeze is such a perfect and unique property ideally located opposite such a beautiful beach and area. So much so we didnt want to leave at the end of our holiday. The attention to detail and superb decoration / fit out is a true stand out. Our family just loved staying here and Madeline was just the perfect host who was super friendly, flexible and helpful. We definitely will be back

Thanks Heidi for your gracious hospitality. This was a perfect staycation, less than 2 hours away from Sydney but certainly far away from it all. An ideal location to explore the surrounds including trendy Pearl Beach, however I was more than happy to stay put as you really do feel you're the only one around as the house has neighbours only on the one side. The quiet beauty of the environment was truly inspiring, watching the landscape change throughout the day. So make sure you give yourself a few extra days, when you settle in you're likely to want to stay longer and finally read that Great Australian Novel, or maybe even longer still to 'Write' one !

Wonderful 2-storey house situated on a riverfront. We spent quite a bit of time sitting on the upstairs balcony with our drinks watching the boats, birds and schools of jumping fish pass by. I also had a turn at fishing off the BBQ deck downstairs and kept losing my bait to the fish! The house was very clean and contained everything we needed. Just bring your clothes, food and drinks. There are 2 restaurants and boat hire just a short walk away. Access to the covered carport is via a short steep driveway just past Cowan Drive, then hop into a carriage cage with your bags and take the slow (but fun) ride down the rails to the house.

Leafy outlook, sunny and spacious this beach vibe apartment has the feel of a house with all the essentials for a perfect escape to the northern beaches. Only 5 minutes walk to Avalon Beach as well as Avalon shops, this little gem is affordable and practical with a very thoughtful host and great attention to detail. There is space and privacy with off street parking and all the things you need - a comfortable bed with soft quality bed linen; great shower, washing machine and sunny clothesline; plenty of cupboard space, a desk with a view of the trees; a smart tv, coffee machines, tea pot and tea and a good sized fridge. The decor and homewares reflect the local beach atmosphere and were delightful. Close enough to Barrenjoey Road for an easy drive to Palm Beach or Whale Beach but far enough away not to hear any traffic noise. It's a short walk to the shops to discover good restaurants and takeaways as well as all the other interesting Avalon retailers. For a couple this is perfect and if you have a family member or close friend visiting who is happy to share the ensuite bathroom, the lounge turns into a queen bed if required. It suited us well with our children visiting. Fiona is a delightful host and thought of everything. The apartment is very clean and airy. We are looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend. A very simple process to rent this river house. We were greeted by the owners on arrival, and instantly felt at home here. Our aim was to do some fishing, and we were delighted to catch many decent sized flathead, and several bream, regardless of the recent floods. Beds were comfy, showers were lovely, and the kitchen well appointed.. We would happily recommend this property
