Waimate oceanfront rentals

We picked this cottage primarily due to its location as a way to break up a long drive up the coast but wished we had stayed a lot longer as we hadnt realised what a lovely place it was and how much the local area had to offer! The cottage itself was wonderfully comfortable with everything you would need yet still retained a real sense of history. Whilst sitting on the veranda looking down the hill, you could really imagine a time gone by. Our stay coincided with a public holiday so the town itself was largely closed but it had the feel of a great country town with plenty of things of interest. Would love to return for a longer stay, which would do the property and area justice!
