This place is fantastic, with the most awesome views. The house has everything you need with very comfy beds.Big shout-out to the Housekeeper who obviously takes a lot of pride in how the place is maintained.We'll definitely be returning another day :)

We absolutely would recommend "The Lodge" as your base while visting Stanley.The lodge was beautifully decorated with a quirkiness which we loved.The sunroom with its big windows framed our water views.The viewing platform for seeing the penguins at dusk was just a quick 5 minute stroll from "The Lodge" and we were able to walk around most of the quaint town and explore all its eateries and shops.

We always have a wonderful stay at Stanley Views. The view is phenomenal! The house is very comfortable, with everything you might need and more. Five stars! 🌟

This is a spectacular and stunningly comfortable home in a stunning garden in a lush wildlifey forest which epitomises Australia. You'll struggle to find time for the tourist attractions. Just be comfy with log fires, plush furniture and a fern forest garden with pure freshwater creeks with yabbies, wallabies and birdlife you'd seldom see. Claire - the host - will show you round and then chat or vanish as needed but it's her home, she built it, and knows heaps.

Great stay. Friendly manager. Easy to find and set on beautiful grounds by the lake. Would definitely recommend.
