Alessandra‘s house is unique in every way, and we enjoyed both the house, wonderful paintings and atmosphere. The location is within an easy bus trip or good walk to the centre of Florence. There are many valuable items in the house, so extra care is required if you are staying with younger family members.

The apartment is well located close to the river, within walking distance of the city centre. Catching the bus is very easy and quick if walking is not your preference. The check-in process was seamless and the offstreet parking a huge bonus. There are excellent grocery stores close by making it easy to prepare your own meals. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the apartment. The only minor point is that the mattresses in the third bedroom were particularly hard. This was really the only minor consideration in what is overall a fantastic and highly recommended apartment.

We had a really nice stay. Nice location which is very well connected via bus, the stop is only 100m down the road and come very frequently. The terrace on the roof is quite nice and private. Paola showed us all the things we needed to know about the apartment and the area. However, we did find it odd to have to check on how much electricity we used, would make more sense to average the electricity usage per day and incorporate that in their cost.

Francesco was a fabulous host! He was helpful with information and also assisted when we needed a package posted to us. The apartment is very spacious, for Italian standards, and had all the amenities we needed as a family of four. The only point to make note of, while the apartment does have heating, it cannot be controlled from within the apartment and is only controlled by the host in their adjoining apartment. Some mornings we woke a little chilly as the heating hadn't set in yet. In saying that, there were additional blankets provided.A great location to walk (or get the bus) to the centre. Local train station, Campo di Marte, was also very accessible for us when taking day trips out of Florence. Our children were very appreciative of the toys that were available in the apartment. We are thankful as the apartment felt like our home for the 2 months we stayed there.
