Great location

The cottage was fantastic with very comfy beds. Directly opposite a quiet beach, 15mins south of Napier and 15mins north of Hastings. We loved our stay there and the host Tony the host was very helpful. Highly recommended. A+++

We stayed at this lovely Bluff Hill property in September 2022. We had a lovely time and Mary had thought of everything we could possibly need during our stay. It was a genuine home away from home.

Position perfect!

We stayed in the Bluff Hill property for a couple of nights in January with our two kids. Location was perfect, the house was in pristine condition and getting in/out was seamless. In particular we appreciated Didi's attention to detail including loads of info about the area, plenty of bathroom supplies and edible treats. Highly recommended!

Beautiful old house with a lovely surrounding garden.Nicely furnished with some unique touches.Easy walk into the town centre and beach. Situated on a slightly busy road but this did not bother us. Maclean Park stadium is next door and was not a bother even during an evening cricket match. A good cafe and second hand bookstore were nearby.The

Perfect peace

We were greeted by a gorgeous little quoll on the rear verandah- a great start to our stay. The house has everything you'd need for preparing meals and dining, the bed is very comfortable, lounge furniture very comfy and stylish. The use of recycled timber is very effective and adds to the casual, cosy feel of the home. The view through the huge windows is nothing short of spectacular. We spent most of our time on the water -kayaking, fishing and swimming or just watching the water traffic out on the channel from the deck. We didn't really feel the need to explore the island, but went to the pub for lunch one day. The property, view and ocean was so relaxing.
