The house was the perfect place for me to gather all of my family and friends for a weekend to celebrate my partners 30th birthday. We hardly left the house because it was the perfect place to spend time and catch up with loved ones. Many of these people had not been to Newcastle, so we had planned to do a lot of sightseeing. But we were so happy just spending time with eachother in all of the beautiful spaces that this home has to offer. We only spent a few hours outside of this home the whole weekend because it was so comfortable and spacious. I also sent lots of messages to the host with questions that I had, and no matter the time of day he was always very responsive and provided all the assistance I needed. If you want to enjoy your stay in Newcastle and make memories to last a lifetime, dont look any further. This is where you want to be.

We definitely struck gold finding this amazing property in Hinton. Every room was impeccibly decorated, beds super comfortable and the view so tranqil. There was no shortage of luxuries. There is an outdoor sauna overlooking the expansive paddock, a firepit with a built in yarning circle, piano and a full sized pool table. Our teenage children played games of pool followed by sitting around the campfire playing their guitars, which was so heartwarming to see them interact like this rather than sit on their devices. There is also a selection of great reading material in the library lounge area as well as games and puzzles. We are already planning our next visit back. Callistemon was a fantastic find in the Catherine Hill Bay Area. The 3 bedroom cottage is thoughtfully furnished, with touches such as mirrors and luggage racks in the bedrooms, not to mention the beautifully ornate door frame to the bathroom! The living and dining areas are comfortable and well-equipped. The property itself is large and spacious, with plenty of room for any four-legged friends. The hosts were very helpful with any questions we had and they just made the whole process so simple from start to finish. Would highly recommend this property for anyone travelling to this beautiful area of the north coast!

Peaceful serenity , tidal lake water laps just meters from the deck, western sun sets over the lake sleeping over the distant hills, rain forest gardens bring a comforting embrace , the little house welcomes the friendly visitor like it has a soul , I think the piano reverbed across the lake waters , the house has everything you need , clean quaint and comfortable .Thanks to DJ our stay was just perfect , cheers Leroy Denae and puppy Eddie
