We were looking to stay in the Sicilian country to be away from the major tourist towns and this house fit the bill.
Eclectic in its decor and furniture, this 300+ year old house is a treat.
However, if you choose to walk around the area, we did encounter a few rabid dogs and ended up taking the long way around, having to brave the main road, which doesn't have a proper pavement.
Only the main bedroom is air-conditioned and the third bedroom is up a narrow ladder.
It was an adventure and we even organised a taxi to and from Pietraperzia.
Carmelo is a wonderful and gracious host.
