The apartment is located in a small street just outside the tourist areas. There is a metro station 2 mins away, but you can walk to most places, especially the Sagrada Familia. It is an ideal size for 2 people on an extended stay, or 4 people on a short stay. The check in and management personnel were extremely helpful and responsive. 5 Stars for them. Great area with food shops and restaurants and a market also.

If you walk uphill you have the Gracia neighborhhood is very authentic. Try Cafe Flanders and La Pepita. What a great place to stay in Barcelona. Luxurious and spacious, with plenty of room for the 10 of us and centrally located to walk to most places of significance. I would highly recommend for any large family group visting Barcelona. Eva & Darney are great hosts and will ensure your stay is memorable.
