Stockwell rentals with pool

We had a 11 night stay at David’s flat. Everything was amazing and it felt extremely homely and comfortable for us! David had amazing communication pre and during the stay! We would highly recommend for others who don’t want to stay in the hustle and bustle of the centre, there are 2 very good underground lines running within 10/15 by foot!

Excellent location for a family stay in London. Easy access to the underground, the overground and busses. Beautiful Clapham Common is only a short walk away. Restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and supermarkets all within minutes. The property was very comfortable and spacious and Susan the host was warm, generous and provided us with lots of thoughtful recommendations for our stay. Cannot recommend highly enough and would love to stay here again.

The property was clean, functional, central (bus stop only a few steps from the front door and tube 150m away). We had our family of 5 stay for 5 nights. While a bit cosy in the lounge once we had the sofa and fold out setup, we acknowledge it is a 1-bed apartment and it worked well for us with cafes and supermarkets just a 5 minute walk. Kitchen was clean and had everything we needed for some basic cooking. The property managers communicated clearly, checkin was easy and when we did have an issue with the internet, we were promptly informed there was someone looking into it and followed up once fixed to ensure it was working. This is a large apartment which has good facilities and is quite comfortable. There are a couple of awkward doors and a steep staircase just so you don't forget you are staying in London, but it works well. Good cooking facilities, although no way to make your morning coffee except a kettle. The local area looks a bit shabby and rough, but the area is quiet and feels quite safe. It is a short 5 min walk to the train (at Loughborough Junction) but the tube station at Brixton is a bit of a trudge at about 1.5km although you can easily catch a bus most of the way. There are a few smaller shops and some takeaway/restaurants nearby (Try Zest of India for tasty and inexpensive indian) but you will have to go to Brixton for proper supermarket and market shopping, or stop at Elephant and Castle on the way back from central London. Ishmael communicates well and is very responsive. Check in was easy and flexible.
