Pam And Nev were very welcoming. It sadly rained the whole of our visit. But we enjoyed our cosy stay in the caravan. We had a everything we needed. Pam and Nev were very knowledgeable about the area and very generous with their time and watermelon. We needed the rest, so the piece and quiet was perfect.

My husband, daughter & I enjoyed our 3 night stay here. We loved having the wood burner going at night, purchased a bag of wood offcuts from Pack’n’Save which was plenty for our time there. Needed the reverse cycle a/c heater going in the morning as it got quite cold, especially in the bedrooms. I believe there were portable heaters, though we didn’t use them. Beds were comfortable and made well. Extra blankets.Amenities were plentiful in the kitchen.Didn’t need to use the separate laundry & bathroom downstairs. That’d be ideal though after swimming or boating on the lake. A few board games available, Smart Ass was fun. TV had Sky and other streaming services. An info folder about the house would be beneficial, on how things worked, bin collection days and such.

Our family of 6 stayed 3 nights in the house and had a great time. It is very spacious and has a lot of interesting things to look at or do. The kids were very entertained by the video games. Although it is half an hour out of Rotorua, the location is quiet and the view of the river is simply stunning. It was very peaceful and lovely to return to after a busy day. There was an issue with bedding which was resolved quickly and without fuss. We would happily recommend and wish we had longer to stay.
