Binnenstad rentals with pool

This is a wonderful apartment which is so well thought out in terms of what guests need for a great stay. The apartment is spacious and thoughtfully designed, in a great location with lovely views over the canal and delightful garden, very well equipped with equipment, information and provisions provided by the host. The host is so warm and welcoming and was in regular contact both before and during our stay. Guests however, need to be aware that there are 4 steep flights of stairs to the apartment, though our host assisted with baggage. Overall, a lovely host and apartment!

The location is unbeatable, the restaurant downstairs is awesome (we ate/drank there three times) as are a number of places nearby. There is a bike rental shop next door and a supermarket just down the street which were both very useful for the duration of our stay. The host was great and explained everything in detail when we arrived and made some good reccommendations about where to go and eat. We of course loved the touches of beer/sparkling wine that we could enjoy upon arrival along with some snacks. The bed is also super comfy. I absolutely recommend staying here! It was one of highlights of our holiday so far.

Fake's houseboat is in the perfect position of Jordaan. It is comfortable and it's really nice to sit out the back and watch all the boats go by. It's a 3 minute walk from Anne Franc house and everything else is within walking distance. Fake was the perfect host. Very comfortable stay on a modern house boat- highly recommended. The rooms are cosy and we had all we needed with some lovely personal touches. There was even an Christmas tree for us. Edwin was a great host and very considerate with good communication. The location is good and the free ferry from the Central Station works really well- we never waited more than a minute or two.

The accommodation is perfectly situated to explore Amsterdam. Sitting in the backyard of a gracht house, it is peaceful and relaxing. The bed is on a mezzanine up a steep ladder. A trip to the bathroom at night maybe an issue for some. The bathroom tiny, but the accommodation is in the middle of a European city and to be expected. The garden is beautiful and had the sun been shining would have been a lovely place to chill between Amsterdam expeditions. It is situated a 5 min walk from the Rijksmuseum. The owner was lovely and was waiting up for us despite a late arrival. A simple but sweet accommodation in a perfect setting.
