Province of Pordenone rentals with pool

This property is probably the largest property in the town with a garden that is more like a park! There is a fantastic outside area, with a huge private swimming pool, deck chairs, dining table area and sun shade. The grounds are well kept and you can enjoy watching the birds and fantastic hummingbird moths in peace and let the world fade away! The location is not far from Soffrata train station, from which you can catch direct trains to Venice quite easily. The property is close to a small bakery and a large supermarket, and the best local restaurant we found was Le Macine. The property itself had a few quirks. For example, there was no air conditioning as advertised (there were free-standing fans in each room instead, which in the heat of summer didn't quite offer full respite). The washing machine was very outdated and despite trying to make it work we gave up and just used the local launderette instead. The plumbing was very old and so the upstairs shower was a bit problematic, however all had hot water and pressure (just flooded sometimes and was very noisy). Wifi worked well, there were plenty of spaces to relax as a group together or separately in the various lounge areas. The host was very welcoming, helpful, available to answer questions throughout, was kind enough to pick up my elderly parents when they arrived at the station, and supported us when we had a huge rain storm that came through in a matter of moments! Overall, we loved our stay!
