Find rentals with pool near Kamo River

Excellent home stay experience. Definitely best to stay for 2 nights so you can explore go to the fish market and make traditional food with Hideo the host. Rent a car for ease of transfer there or book it in with the host for his tours. Great remote location nice to experience authentic Japan. Very comfortable sleep on the traditional beds.

We loved our stay in this beautiful house with great amenities. A fantastic location, close to many temples, gardens and cafes. The hosts were very accommodating and gave clear communication for the check in. There are also amazing forest walks nearby that pass through a number of less visited temples. We hope to return some day soon.

Great place to stay in Kyoto for a few days with a family. Lovely house close to subway, restaurants and many temples. Really easy and good to deal with.

A nice house with a traditional Japanese vibe!

We were greeted at the door by Yoshiko. Lovely to meet with her again. She explained changes that had happened since Covid. The machiya is a piece of history and is so peaceful. The bath is amazing with a feature that will fill then notify you that it is ready. The garden off the bedroom is a calming place to enjoy. This is such a well situated place to stay. We would love to return.
