When we booked this apartment in Perth, Australia we had high expectations and the apartment exceeded them. The constant changing views were amazing. The day we arrived wet and windy, followed by mostly sunny days apart from a very misty one which was quite unique for us. We loved the personal touch that Frances provided and her recommendations were very helpful. Only downside was that we live so far away as we would love to return.

The cottage was exceptional, well equiped, very clean, nicely decorated and positioned close to Ballater for walks into town for lunch or a coffee and wander around and to visit the local attractions and nearby towns. It is also positioned well to visit the east coast and whiskey trail areas and the Cairngorm walks. Staying for a week it was so helpful having the laundry and equipment. Our stay was very enjoyable.

We had a wonderful week at The Stables. I can highly recommend this property as of a very high standard, serene and relaxing while easy to travel to other parts of Scotland. The beds were comfortable and everything was pristine. Great directions to the property were provided prior to our stay by Fiona. A lovely, warm welcome was received from Thomas as well as a much appreciated, locally sourced, welcome basket left for us. The amount of information relating to areas of interest was fabulous. We enjoyed watching the antics of the sheep and cows from our windows and surrounding countryside was lovely and relaxing. Would love to come back and will definitely recommend to any fellow Australian travellers.
