Our holiday in Wisteria Cottage

We loved this quirky cottage ! John and Arthur could not have been more welcoming or helpful, and we found the cottage very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The kitchen provided everything we needed to make our simple meals with bought things, and we spent 8 happy days exploring San Francisco and relaxing in the cottage in its garden setting. Very highly recommended.

Great location for small family holiday in San Francisco

Beautiful home in Alameda, perfect size for our family of three (with 11 year old). It was a short Uber ride to the ferry which took us to San Francisco city each day. Very easy 15-20 minute ferry trip and we thought it better than getting bus, train or car from the house to the city. Alameda is a great area with plenty of dining options. Our host, Margaret, was very helpful and available to answer any of our questions.

A beautiful house with excellent facilities in a very relaxing and enjoyable location.

We stayed outside San Fransisco at Alameda and it was very relaxing. Very easy to get into San Fransisco either by Bart train or by ferry and we could buy our own food to prepare. The house was so well set up and our host Marie was very helpful and accomodating. I would recommend this accomodation to anyone wanting to see San Fransisco - we went into the city everyday very easily and did all the tourist activities but could come home and relax in a lovely environment each evening.
