Holiday rentals near Great Barrington Historical Society & Museum

This home was perfect for our family over the thanksgiving weekend. It has three levels and that provided privacy while the living area was open. Very clean, comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen and good location for exploring Stockbridge and Lenox. Hiking trails and canoeing made it great for activities. The owner communicated answering questions promptly and left simple instructions for the home. Loved staying here.

I stayed with my 2 year old daughter for 3 nights. Location is close to my oldest daughter’s boarding school. Lyndall was a wonderful host. The cottage was very comfortable and the light and views of the trees from both the living room and bedroom windows was lovely. We enjoyed sitting in the living room particularly, where my daughter played with her toys and watched TV. Although kitchen is old, it was clean and had everything we needed. I liked that the cottage is set at the back of the property, well away from the Main Street, with plenty of space between the main house and the cottage too. Communication with Lyndall was easy. She was very helpful sourcing a babysitter at late notice for 2 different days for us, for which I’m very grateful. She also met my last minute request for a late checkout which was most helpful. Would definitely stay again.
