I found the Highlands cottage to be very cosy and handy to all facilities. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

The stay was fabulous. Great location, Tidy and clean and the owners were very freindly and welcoming when we spoke to them. The cheese and champagne platter was a lovely touch. A few things that would have been great help in the home as they weren't things that I thouight to pack for a "home" stay are: it would have been wonderful to have had a heater in the main room (tiles are a bit chilly in winter). Also the main bathroom was difficult to keep dry without a Shower screen. It would have really helped to have had some oil and BBQ utensils in the house. Having traveled from Sydney t I didn't think to pack things like that - we managed though! But otherwise a fabulous place the courtyard was lovely and BBQ was a winner for breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
